I am so angry. It doesn't help that I'm hungry. Nutshell, the gourmet vegan restaurant in Portland is no longer vegan. I'm so disappointed. Big poop on them for being big quitters in the important evolution of dining, options, creativity and conviction. A big step backwards for Portland.

do they still make vegan dishes? Or did they change completely?
They switched from vegan to vegetarian, with only a couple dishes on the menu that can't be made vegan. I went looking for the reason why, and it looks like there were rumors they were going to have to close. Maybe there aren't enough vegans to sustain a higher-end restaurant, even in Portland?
That sucks! We had such a nice time when we went there 🙂
