Damn F$%^%% Portland and the militant vegans that sank Nutshell. Nutshell closed down this weekend and I'm a pissed off vegan Portland resident. They knew my name in there and I liked that. They served interesting yummy food and were always kind if sometimes a bit slow. And I was disappointed when the menu changed to vegetarian and vegan but I still supported them because they were great. Poop on this stupid city.

Are you sure it just isn't this darn economy? We are watching all the little cafes that we like closing down. We are getting solicited by our favorite little restaurants to "please buy gift cards in advance or else we may have to close." Sad.
