Inside Lavender Hair

Whispering tigers
Mosaic chameleons
Happy to keep my car
Don't want jellyfish
Do want chocolate, sunshine and pink sand
Brutal brain
Bursting heart
The air smells immature
and nature brings me too far backwards
to see forwards
Green tea and pillows
outward pictures
Inward longings
I have come to grieve and be still
I have come to laugh
in whispers.

Salty sea
Running legs like circles
Captured souls with lavender hair
I dream wildly
Eat savagely
Upon thrashing sleep
wishes and plans
I'm sorry never ever said
I jump in place
waiting to be seen
And heard
I second guess long legs
and want to climb trees
To rest
To read
To believe.
