This one is a one of a kind dress by Bonnie Heart Clyde, a local designer in Portland. It' a vintage linen piece with an embroidered tree-woman and flowers.
On a rainy day in Paris at the Amelie carousel I have on a many seasons ago Marc by Marc Jacobs dress, Forever 21 cardigan, CAT boots and a Pancake Meow cupcake necklace.
Minimalist footwear for running is exploding on the internet- or have I just found it? NPR, Reuters, Harvard and bloggers are all talking about "barefoot" running. Am I just catching up or are they? Funny. Either way, my calves are sore, I'm running faster and my toes are happier! I'm 2 1/2 weeks in and haven't put on my New Balance running shoes (which I always ran in as a hard and heavy heel striker) and I see no reason to wear them. Now on to clothes!

i always get everything i want. i've always thought that way and will continue to. if it has somehow slipped by i guess i didn't truly want it.
clothes! wednesday i wore a betsey johnson white eyelet jacket, a black cotton ruffle top, a butterfly skirt and green platform borns. thursday was a pajamas clean up the house day. while cleaning out my closet i realized i've worn a couple tees and they haven't been noted so i must list my vegetarians have more fun tee from urban outfitters and ny love love love tee from delia's.

What do you collect?
1.i'm a big sucker for all things sanrio. primarily hello kitty and chococat. i buy notebooks, bags, wallets, shirts, jewelry and more. it's a problem. i am a grown woman after all. but i enjoy it still.
2.i collect tori amos stuff but not as obsessively as i have in the past. some of my prized collection of tori includes never released photos, they are the 3×5 prints from a photo shoot in studio with michael stipe, a signed little earthquakes promo cassette and a personal message from tori when i met her that she signed on my scarlett's walk map.
3.i love marc jacobs and betsey johnson, i think of my clothes as collections.
4.my fantasy is to have a room with all of my art supplies and crafty crap in it. i get giddy around fabrics and ribbons and other trims. i'd be lost for hours creating and organizing.
5.tom robbins
6*.thomas the tank engine is very big in our house and is beginning to rival all of my collections and my husband's put together.
*technically my son's collection, but we all enjoy it.
