I love writing about clothes and I'm trying to blog more. I wrote the post below late last night to post this morning. Then I wake to read Haiti has gone through another earthquake, an after shock measuring 6.1. My heart is breaking for Haiti. I am so very sorry. I want them all to be safe and well. Blessings to Haiti and all who are working so hard to help them heal.

In September 2009 I was so excited to go to NYFW (New York Fashion Week)! And this is the lovely vintage dress I wore that I had bought over a year before at the Xtabay in Portland. A beautiful store! A memorable day…

I'm holding my invitation to the Nanette Lepore show and wearing my Vivienne Westwood for Melissa shoes.

Hearing today that my sister's young friend Molly Hightower was found dead in Haiti was just so very very sad. The stories I've been reading, the footage on the news, there are no words. Molly was 22, volunteering at an orphanage and taking care of sweet little ones. You can read her blog here. I think when a family looses a child, we all feel the loss. Our hearts go swiftly to a heavy place. Rest in peace, Molly.
